The Roll Over

Is it a great poser?
Presented by the roll over
Its like taking careful aim
And yourself intentionally maime

A country of predominantly tertiary industry
Relying on sevices totally
Would take such a stand so blatantly
To remove those who perform so creditably

In all my life time
I have never  seen anthing so asanine
That even in the face of questionable feasability
On can react so admantly

Two vital pillars of the economy
Would limp along so feebly
Those like banking and tourism
Would feel the effects of such a display of wisdom

Another thing of great wonder
Is'nt a person a potential customer
There seemed to be little remorse
When the "Dear John " letter are disperse

This is s sick form of euphoria
Brought on by Xenophobia
So to them it was perfect timing
For some benign ethnic cleansing.

Oh! What raving and ranting
Brought on by the status granting
So to protect the country's  Diaspora
Was pledged in the political manifesto

The message is quite plaintive
We keep the country for a native
Therefore we will bear this onslaught
For bringing the country to a hault

You expats will rob
My good people out of a job
So even if you come from heaven
You must roll out at the end of year seven

Yes there will be great pain
But to the country's indiginous populace great gain
There is still some  comfort for you
Come back after an absence of two

There is always pride in a nation
When the native command many a profession
But that takes years of preparation
For it to bear fruition

One can see the early trauma
Cause by the purile roll over
Who will provide the bandage
To subdue the pending hemorrhage

Those in the business community
Seemed not to be too happy
Since workers of trust and great competence
Are being replaced by novices of  little experience

To those in favour it is a done deal
There is no place for you to appeal
So when given your letter of departure
Hastily move on to your planned future

It is true and quite frankly
It is indeed their country
So be happy and rest assure
That you still have some place that you can go.

Is there some blessing from the master's hand
To be borned in this land
It is quite clear that miscegenation
It a great factor in many a nation.
