MY NEW FRIEND (WITH AN IMPORTANT ADDITI0N)

                        
                         Although I have heard
                         That he's never spoken a word
                         He will be my new friend

                                 Because

                         He's not afraid of lightning
                         And he isn't scared of the dark
                         Besides, I've heard him on the telephone
                         And he's got an amazing bark!

                         I can't wait to meet him
                         What fun it will be to greet him
                        
                         So I tell my God in heaven above
                         I know that I'm ready
                         To fall in love.

                                 Because

                         He will respond without a flaw
                         When I ask him
                         "Please my new friend,
                         Give me your paw?"
