Love, Passionate and Free .. A Sonnet
To have a love so passionate and free,
That goes beyond all distance, space and time,
To wander in a desert aimlessly,
Before you find a love, truly sublime,
To come together, knowing two are one,
And standing strong, oblivious of rain,
Just knowing, after storm, will come the sun,
And banishment of prior hurt and pain,
To know your love will strengthen day by day,
Despite the never ending trials of life,
To share your bed the place where lovers lay,
To live in harmony as man and wife,
The ceremony, joining two as one,
A lifelong love affair has just begun.
