Good Providence
Teach us to number our days,
And grow in changing our ways;
So we may grow in the wisdom,
Ready to enter Your Kingdom.
But how long waiting will it be,
Before the Son of God to see;
Floating down to earth on the cloud,
For picking me up from the crowd.
You satisfy me through each day,
Strengthening me where I might fray;
Through my prayer and reading Your Word,
Seeing it all clear and not blurred.
Your mercy has joy it does bring,
Giving a desire to sing;
For I merely want to rejoice,
That wants me to lift up my voice.
Allow all of Your children see,
How Your sublime power can be.
With all the evil that we face,
As we are taken to Your place.
May Your kindness be with each one,
That pays homage onto Your Son;
Be successful in all we do,
With each and every day through.
