Jammed in my brain are images
Intense visions I can't erase
Mem'ries that remind of our youths
Most are funny tickling my thoughts
Yester years with lessons it taught
Bring back smiles that spark your face
Unload your burden in His grace
All weights that once slacken your pace
Yank them off time to have rest
Allow time to smell the roses
Nailed in that yoke you quietly bear
A sight that squeezed my heart to tears
Drained, look up! vent your anguish
Express the need to claim His promise
Leaden with more than you can bear
All it takes is kneel and surrender.
