Heaven Bound
Once, just once you'll meet someone
Who gives and gave to everyone
Something of worth a smile but theirs
Today her hope is all will wear
A piece of her in their heart
A laugh to end with and to start
To love another as she loved you
A hand to hold with faith unto
Your tears today may fall as rain
But know this too she is sustained
Where one day too we'll see again
Lenay, mother, dear friend Godsend
Hard it is to say goodbye
Harder much still is not to cry
But know this well her poker face
Smiles down and holds you in embrace
Comical, one friend described
Though pain suffered hers she would hide
To bring but good to ones bad day
To leave presence that never fades
In each soul of those she knew
Can now believe GOD called and drew
Daughter to walk the streets of Gold
Take heart rejoice God's hand she holds
And to her sons she leaves behind
Freddie and Michael one day in time
You too will hold what once was yours
Again in arms be this assured
In loving memory of Lenay Danielle Glover
