Time in a Profession
Most of un in life have a dedication
To either a vocation or a profession
In all ways making sure there is that propensity
To perform at a high standard of credibility.
Then others take pains to ensure that the reputation
Is not tarnish but impropriety or any form of litigation
Always updating so as to be au fait with the latest technology
Thus ensuring that capability to function most competently
By attending seminars and all forms of continuing education
Sometimes this a prerequisite for continued function
Having to acknowledge that they did a stipulated minimum hours
This will ensure continuing function among their peers.
A profession like any other business will have some competition
Sometimes there will be narrow zone called specialization
Even though you may be in a profession, but hold a differently specialty
My have to incorporate others to cover areas of deficiency.
Don't forget you most important stimulant and growth factor
The one whose patronage keeps your head above water
Remember they are the life blood of your profession
So always respect and remember the customer's position
Any good professional always knows when it is time to rest
Bowing out when he think he has proven and done his best
Looking back over the high and low points of the past times
And like the runners in a relay will pass the baton bow out in all smiles.
