Gossip
There are people well known will take no distress
To sit and happily discuss another person's business
Feeling big because in gossiping they use words very belittling
About the party, but in reality it themselves by their actions who is disparaging.
And in some cases take information even if it is a segment
Can amend and append and make an enlargement
But if they had an opportunity to get the complete picture
Would then see the danger pose by that of conjecture
Gossip has the potential to make an innocuous situation
Escalate into one that can grow into a very dangerous condition
Suppose someone informed to an abusive partner about his lover
This can initiate some anger and put the person in danger.
It can be used by some as a form of manipulation
As the holder may used as leverage the piece of information
To get a favor knowing for secrecy the person will comply
Because they believe that it would be made public to deny.
This sort of behavior even has tentacles in the corporate arena
Especially among those whose actions demonstrate an insecure aura
So they will make sure something unflattering reach the right ears
Thus limiting a rival chances when promotion nears.
Where there are people, one will find politics and gossip
But should they take a moment before such things strew from the lip
And think that if they had had taken time to inculcate some positive thought
Perhaps what a greater reward to them it would have brought.
