 Cries Unheard
This ones for her, my friends dear sister
Under siege, black and blues and blisters
That cover body parts some seen, some not
It seems respect her, he has forgot

Breaks my heart when hear I do
Vows forgotten when said I do
Appears madness has taken hold
Love once birthed, his hands stole

Abuse is just a five letter word
Fallout much worse she'd not deserve
But in her grasp was all she had
To end this pain, this pain so bad

You may just know someone who lives like this
Just look real close or you may miss
That new mark seen upon her body
The one ignored by everybody

Redemption hers would take the lead
Pain suffered and wounds would bleed
For one last time, to bring an end
To fairy tale and soul to mend

Collateral damage will also be
Children of both, he failed to see
Piece of puzzle, soon to share
The loss of parent by eyes theirs bared

Abuse will come in many forms
Verbal and physical both all so wrong
My hope this song and write will bring
Someone their reason to end such suffering
