Prayer For Peace
I pray this day for world peace
and help for those that hunger,
a lot of people are suffering
mostly children that are younger.
People fight and people kill
without remorse in sight,
they do awful acts of violence
all day and through the night.
I pray that the hate and fighting
and the cause for tension ends,
that there is peace among children
and they are taught to be friends.
I humbly ask for the help of Angels
to protect those that now cry,
keep us safe from the world's evils
and bless those that struggle and die.
This world needs something
that will bring all peace of mind,
if we could just work together
maybe we could change humankind.
