Poetic Verses
What if
What if you awoke in such good spirits one morning
Only to be given some news that you will soon be moving
For the place you have decorated and made into a pleasant home
Because you have defaulted for some time on your loan
What if you went to you place of employment
In good spirits, light hearted and in a degree of merriment
Then to be stopped in your strides and told quite abruptly
That you were among the group of workers facing redundancy.
What if one day you and the wife were having a wonderful conversation
Then she looked strange and in then made a startling digression
Saying that she have made up her mind and now have no recourse
But to move on with her life so she wants a divorce
What is you needed advice from you best friend
One on whom you though that you could depend
You called and said that you will be passing by
But got an excuse so frivolous that you suspected it was a lie.
Those scenarios were just to drive home
That nothing is etched in stone
So be not reactive but proactive and be always incline
That in living your life always keep an opened mind.
