Old age has got a hold on you
say it's not so but
you know it's true.
When you set down
and can't get up
you are asleep in bed
but your teeth are in a cup.

Your hair is gray
and every so thin
you don't have a neck
because it's all chin.
And oh that nose
the shorter you get
the longer it grows.

When your front looks
just like your back.
And your dress hangs
on you like a sack
It's oh so true.
old age has happened to you
I know it happened to me.
