Poetic Verses
To Forgive
There are some who always hold in their minds
All those past event and occurrences of former times
All this pent up rage and fury have stunted the growing process
And have put a hindrance on their life's progress
It is hard for them to find the heart to forgive
So within those sort of confining walls they live
And in such a situation will never grasp any opportunities
Because of that confinement and atmosphere of cultured negativities
Holding on to the past for any moment, is torment
Remembering such actions will cause you to lament
Especially when those who were in a similar fate are growing
Whilst you held out and on to therefore your actions it is retarding.
Another factor in this matter you will get the inclination
To blame other for your self-inflicting situation
But always be mindful that you are creating a crater
Into which you may cast all you progressive matter.
In each one of us in our lives will come that moment of choice
Some may act spontaneously , others think and yet some others may take advice
Also to remember this and do so immediately and quite clearly
That no matter what there will come a time to face some form of responsibility.
As they say to err is to be human and to forgive is so divine
Does forgiveness not give that feeling so sublime?
And in so doing the body and soul feel so much better
Also many of those other burdens are made much lighter.
