Just Ask Me
Oh my walls are high
obscuring loves light
but each time let down
I stand alone in the night
Many times I hold back
afraid to be free
but when a door is opened
there is nothing there to see
An empty promise of love
is too often spoken
Would it be so hard to return
what is freely given
Oh I know I'm not much
but what I give equals more
It seems love is always
just another locked door
I trust in my Savior
He sends what I need
Are my wants merely
just an unplanted seed?
Perhaps it's self fault
of what I'm blind to see
But all one has to do
is simply Just Ask Me....
