A Change for The Better
A friend of mine though no fault entirely of his own
Suddenly lost his job, and then a few years after his home
He did not sit around finger pointing and apportioning blame
But just sit and smile and say well I have lost this game but not again
This cause him to make a wise choise in effecting a career change
Some people said at this stage in his life that is very strange
He remained focused and with all his intellectual power
Stood tall above the others in that subject matter.
When he was settled in his profession for sometime
He did not delve in the past but had that presence of mind
To seek out and gladly thank those who caused him to lose his former position
Because that had given him the strength to go into this now lucrative direction.
It is not always a bad thing when someone but bumps in your road
This could give you even more strength to carry the load
Because that time and energy they spent trying to neutralizing you
Would have been better served by then finding something self actualizing to do.
Then there are those who have ability and not that confidence
Sometimes a jolt in the right place can make that difference
They may not be one of the brightest stars in the constellation
But the emitted luminance can still attract some sort of attention.
