My Heart Can See
To my lovely son Donald who is 33 years old today. Love always Mum xxx
My laddie now is thirty-three
Looking back my heart can see
Memories on clear display
Bright as they were yesterday
Has an angel on his shoulder
Stayed with him as he`s got older
Been there from the very start
I know, I saw him with my heart.
Watched him sing his way through school
Teachers pet, his golden rule
Lives his life to beats in time
I`m so happy he is mine
Grew up fast he`s now a dad
Still he is my little lad
Now `though has another half
Walks with her along life`s path
Still rocks `though and loves his mum
Know I`ll always love you son.
