 once upon a time

Weary

You closed your eyes liz said you
Felt weary needed a moment’s peace
Slipped off to sleep never realising
Your God you would meet.
I’m sure he smiled clasped your hand
And whispered we have been waiting
For you to slip away into that nice cosy sleep
Into Gods world you step serene, pain, and despair gone
Eyes dancing in your head once again as
You glide amongst long gone friends, they
Like you felt weary thought have a moment’s sleep
And now like you liz they have found eternal peace
