Why divorce
Sometimes it is amazing how the number of couples seek recourse
At the slightest of marital problem solve it with a divorce
Not wanting to sit down and have a very informed talk
Believing that the only answer it to end it and walk.
Would never try to analyze and see where it went wrong
Each one readily blaming the other for what went wrong
Not wanting to thrash it out with some brain storming
But will get into some cross talk and as always finger pointing
Not wanting to make that big investment in the emotional bank
This the other will used as a sort of controlling plank
Will always want to control and will not relinquish
That ability to mentally abuse which is something totally selfish
It is always that in a relationship to consider the other person
If not then why did you incorporate them in the union ?
Did you want someone to depress, belittle and disparage?
Is that to you the meaning of having a good marriage?
Remember in time there will not always be happiness
Because no matter what in life there always looms the contrast
So be supportive, sensitive and always consider your partner
Because it is only together that you can sail through the cascading water.
Some may say we split because of one or the other's infidelity
Yes that may be factor or a remote possibility
Not that I am condoning that behavior and that a fact
But sometimes in jealousy one can distort an innocent act.
Courting is like a period of internship and learning
You should observe each other for growing and knowing
So if there was anything that looked unfavorable to one or the other
Should quickly highlight it before in marriage it becomes a bother.
