A Watchman On The Wall Is My Call


  





I'm sounding the trumpet as I'm called to do
Although some may question my motives to construe
That I'm giving time to the devil in my warnings to you
The platform which I stand is for Jesus and His Truth
 
We are living in perilous times and I'm called to sound the alarm
Like a roaring lion the enemy is seeking whom he may destroy and harm
The word says don't be caught sleeping for those that have eyes to see
As well as those that have ears to hear to combat the enemy
 
I wonder how could it be said I'm giving time to the devil?
When the Holy Spirit is my guidance of sharing on all levels
I give God all the glory for inspiring everything I share
For all is out of love to warn the enemy is out there
 
Too many are being busy on temporal things of this world
Drawing back from exalting the almighty God of the universe
I shall not be moved for I'm not looking to please man
My God given passion is to speak the truth for all to understand
 
While it's true some ministers have feel good words to tickle
 your ears
The whole gospel isn't a feel good message for you to hear
It consist of warnings and in Him abide that all might take heed
That's why we are to daily meditate on the word and read
 
I tell you this I've even been scorned of all the scriptures I share
It's not my attempt to rewrite the bible but some are unaware
The only time they read the word may be in a poem displayed there
In reality isn't coming against the work of God giving
place to a demon somewhere?

It doesn't matter how others may construe
As in psalm 45:1 My tongue is the pen of a ready writer
To exalt my King and give Him all the glory and honor

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Psalm 45:1
My heart is inditing a good matter:I speak of the things
which I have made touching the king:
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
 
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is
written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
and then thou shalt have good success.
 
Psalm 50:4-6,14-23
4 He shall call to the heavens from above,
and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 Gather my saints together unto me;
those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness:
for God is judge himself. Selah.
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving;
and pay thy vows unto the most High:
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble:
I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou
to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest
take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth
my words behind thee.
18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst
with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue
frameth deceit.
20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother;
thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence;
thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one
as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them
in order before thine eyes.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God,
lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me:
and to him that ordereth his conversation
aright will I shew the salvation of God.
