BEING ME

Wherever I am, wherever I end, this is me.
Born in 13 St. James Drive, Falls Road.
Lived in the Murph, moved over to North Belfast
Then over to South Belfast.
Went further South to Cork, then on to Great Southern land
This is me, the sum of all the places I have lived.

I travelled back to north of Ireland.
Antrim Town this time.
Then thought I would move back to West Belfast.
Great Southern land next stop?
Probably and perhaps travelling onward.
This is me!In all certainty.

But then who knows? I don’t.
Though one constant thought always remains
Given time I will settle.
North,South,East,West not sure about west, not me.
Wherever I am at, I'm the one in the corner
Talking about moving on.
This is me!

Perhaps I should settle in Great Southern Land
Though North, South, West Belfast shall always beckon.
However I end, wherever I end.
This is me!
