embraced the fire that caused
spirits untimely expiration;
didn't see it coming until he heard
the wind humming;
the bringer of his peace

cocked back and released,
two hollows were the swallower's of his shadow,
the drinker of his blood,
the eater of his unconditional love;
law claims to be the lords of justice,
but when we are the victims
the judicial system doesn't
