Gossip Always Hurts The Gospel

There are always stories passed
Back and forth upon this site.
Attacks upon integrity
Upon those who walk in Light.

I've been called a hypocrite,
A nutbar and much more.
There's nothing phony about me...
My life's an open door.

I don't pretend to be a Christian
As some tend to imply.
Get to know me by my fruit
Before you entertain that lie.

You see, I also receive stories...
Most of which I just ignore.
I'm not into playing games...
This is not what I'm here for.

Gossip always hurts the Gospel...
It so hurts the heart of God.
I don't want to be found walking
On a path demons have trod.

Evil minds are never happy
Until they create discord.
Negatives are never nice...
They bring no glory to the Lord.

I don't repay hate with more hate...
Hate is not my heart at all.
I believe that God is love
And love is best known to install

A spirit of security...
It is in the Lord I trust.
I must follow certain guidelines...
Jesus Christ is always just.

I realize that some get hurt
By awful things others may say.
But forgiveness is important
If you live the Bible way.

Forgive and then just stay away
From those who criticize...
Who are causing you discomfort
By talking about other guys.

God is a God of peace and love,
Of joy and harmony.
Gossip always hurts the gospel...
It's the gospel's enemy.

I can always bare my heart
Through the poetry that I write.
Before my God inspires a word...
My prayer's already taken flight.

I've been given an assignment...
Poetry is my ministry.
I will carry out this mission.
The devil can't embarrass me.

So I call upon true Christians
To pray against this evil plot.
Remember, gossip hurts the gospel
And the gospel's all I've got.

~**AUTHOR'S NOTE**~~
I will always stand up for what I
believe is right. Sometimes this
involves getting out of my comfort
zone which is what happened last
night. There were insults on the
board about me which I could actually
laugh about...I'm supposed to be
toothless and living in a trailer.
Now, is this supposed to paint a
true picture of me? Pathetic!! I
feel sorry for my attacker because
I am protected by the mighty hand
of God...I am under the umbrella
of the Holy Spirit and NOTHING can
by no means hurt me.

"Ye are of God, little children,
