 once upon a time

johnmcguckin78gmailcomheathergibsonjohnnyduncangeishashadowsontheheart
Here I'm standing with empty arms
The childer are all gone.
And I'm facing another lonesome day
Tis strange listening to the sound of silent rooms.

The noise of love has faded away from my empty arms.
It's not that i'm complaining
Ach, perhaps I am.since the childer were taken from me
listening to this silence is hard to bear.

Lord God, I would rather have my arms full again
With them all squealing and yelling.
Yet here I stand with empty arms
Lord please, fill my empty heart with childer again.
