Your Piety
You are spiritually well,
Because His Spirit does dwell;
Knowing from what you do share,
And the time you spend in prayer.
You do well throughout each day,
Healthy and you do not stray;
Because you live by the Word,
Following as it is heard.
Other believers have not,
In doing the way they ought;
No longer do they abide,
And have started to backslide.
Nothing makes me more than glad,
That His Spirit you still had;
Dwelling deep inside of you,
With each day helping you through.
And there is never a doubt,
That your faith is shining out;
So many others can see,
From wickedness you are free.
Because you have changed your song,
It is Christ that you belong;
You cannot be taken away,
Since your soul the Lord did pay.
