Writing and Reading
In many ways were get acquainted with these words
The pen is even mightier than the two edges of a sword
Then you my hear a successful person saying
That their life was influence when reading a particular writer's writing.
There are some writings that are thought provoking and readily
Have the ability to stimulate a debate very easily
Thus doing can be a very ready source of information
That can be a very important pillar in ones education.
Yet in some places some government think its best
To muzzle, control or censor the press
Only allowing those who hold fast to the agenda
Of promulgating its distorted and biased propaganda
Always make sure that when you write an article
Make sure all information is easily verifiable
And the sources used have a record that is credible
Thus ensure that you have not crossed to floor to libel
Reading a bit of writing the reader may have that inclination
To look at the piece and from it draw a sort of conclusion
Not to plummet headlong in the thoughts and impressions of the writer
But to be able to look at it and see if there is scope to differ.
Sit around people and you will be amaze by what you see
You will be able to spot those ones who read extensively
There will be difference in level of conversation and an extensive vocabulary
An how they express themselves with good diction and most articulately
Today it is a pain to hear some parents concede
That they have problems getting their children to read
Perhaps the written is getting lots of competition
From the technological world's many types of distractions.
I know we feel good when our child pronounce the words correctly
But is that the type of reading is doing nothing for them developmentally
It is to read and in the same token try to understand
So that you will be in phase with the writer's plan.
Remember when you are doing any sort of examination
You have to read and also understand the question
So that you may be able to work on a solution
That may be fitting for that particular situation,
