Tonight
The night is young lets talk awhile
Sit next to me make it worth while
You see I need my dose of you
The right Rx, portion to soothe
The savage beast that once was man
Needs too be loved maybe you can
Plant a kiss on cheek gone cold
Hug what once was young now old
Feel we do your gentle hand
That makes all right where wedding band
Use to grace your long soft fingers
When leave you do your scent will linger
This man now beast suffers a loss
That hunts him down when sleep he's tossed
Like a leaf blown by the wind
His only fault once love his sin
He cannot hold what touches keys
That stroke keyboard and part of me
Through sites we share through cyberspace
Yet hunger pains for loved embrace
Blow he will kisses to one
That feels so right in writes then some
Just to leave no stone unturned
He'll point to where love fires burned
Upon chest empty today
Inside heart where love once played
The game that some may lose or win
Romance now sought where it lay ed in
Pardon this simple write again
Dear love, poet and my dear friend
You see beginnings also have ends
The night now here where wounds you tend
