Para abrir los ojos cada día
Y tomar otro aliento…
Para ver la subida de sol
En toda su gloria…
Para oír las canciones de los pájaros
En su sinfonía dulce…
Para probar de leche y miel
Para alimentar nuestra existencia…
Para tocar nuestros adorado' brazo
Con el amor en los corazones…
Para oler el perfume de primavera
Y llenar los pulmones a estallar…
¡Qué placeres sencillos estos
Todavía cómo dio por sentado llegan a ser!
Abra los ojos..
Escuchan la vida…
Come con sabor…
Acaricia otra alma...
Aspire profundamente…
Y está vivo en este momento…
Para el luego nunca puede venir.
