Consider the sum of all things you've done
How much is it worth to overcome
The waste of your time that could be applied
Living in light, the truth not in lies
We recently spent time with our maker
Savior, my CHRIST, Good Shepard, sin taker
Upon green pastures where all was serene
Gods country I'd call it living a dream
Retreat some would call it and rightly so
Retreat to the father before we must go
To Him I would speak with prayers for my soul
To better myself for Him to take hold
There were nights of encouragement and too our fears
Thinking failure, commitment, of previous years
Holding unto what made me to lay upon Him
My deepest of feelings, my darkest of sins
Question would rise with one of my brothers
Where doubt came to mind of why one would bother
To serve the GOD that no one does see
To be ever faithful with eyes Him decree
What if He doesn't exist was the question
What if our time on His intervention
Was all but a lie, what if it were true
Turned I would to him whose question we drew
This small conclusion, so simple an act
Believe what you may but consider the facts
What did you lose, if you lost anything
Is your soul He reached out for, to Him everything
