The Greed of Wanting
It is quite clear that some of us have become a slave
Being dominated almost entirely by the thing we crave
Being so overwhelmed and captivated by this form of addiction
Thus allowing the mind to be overcome by any form of intervention
That quest at all cost for the apparent almighty dollar
Seemingly being weaved by those who have some power
Have been a factor that have caused some to sell themselves short
Never taking time to think what type of future they may have bought
The question is what have become of things like morals and ethics?
These situations have demonstrated that they are now in a gross deficit
Sometimes it is very hard to find someone who is seem capable
Of living up to or demonstrating that they have some sort of principle
That great rush to attain riches at any cost
Even if it is acquired no matter what else got lost
Would gladly destroy relationships, family and friends
Readily focusing and fixed no matter whom it offends
Who could remember those day when some people felt absolutely
Insulted, when offered any type or any form of charity
Always feeling that it was theirs and only their responsibility
To chart their path to success when they were in poverty.
Today those whom we considered the middle class
Those are the one whom appears to fall very fast
When there seem to be any recession or any financial adversity
They are the ones that give themimpression that they cannot adjust suitably
There are also some who have no remorse or regrets
Of using that very powerful and seeming irresistible force called sex
That has transcended all races, classes even genders and has been indeed
A very profitable profession because it is always in need.
As this recession continues look for those drug barons
There will have the money for to flaunt and for dispensation
And because of the situation will garner lots of interest and attention
But to those who partake remember there are consequences in such a situation.
So always be vigilant and let this be always your creed
Make a concerted effort to separate those wants from the needs
The wants may be many and that can cultivate such a great greed
But focus on those need they are much easier to feed.
