Pressed against a screen is felt
What makes a grown man come to melt
Like icicle with cold it's chill
Cool to touch, a need, my fill
Funny how ones feelings can
Be changed to feel, make more a man
Of child who walks in candy store
Wanting gumdrops and so much more
She paints a portrait, her take of me
Though never met but still does see
Something more than we do in
Ourselves, the present that we live in
She moves with words passion once dead
She stirs throughout my day in head
Believe she could complete the part of me
The piece missing imprisoned free
Smile only in picture form
Warmth from far, hundreds of miles
Sunshine she is on cloudy days
When nightfall comes we wish she'd stay
This emptiness that claimed the years
Of youth now gone once drowned by tears
Brings forth back life that lived in fear
Brings heart of mine to come back here
