This is a poem about an Art form,
that's a little out of the norm.
A place where poetry meets face to face,
a hero of the human race.
From house party to kids say the darndest things
with ordinary folk,
a man named Linkletter with decency spoke.
He never used foul language to get his point across,
and without that kind of class again we are at a loss.
Now that the sun sets on all of his tomorrows,
toast to him for helping us forget our sorrows.
God love him he lived to be 97,
and now adds more charm to heaven.
He was married 75 years to the same person,
in this day and age that's a true lesson.
What an honor it was to have this man in our company,
he will be truly missed i hope by you:definitely by me.

and a choice,
to have love and kindness surround them everyday
for that was just his way!!!!
