Spotlight on lesson of the day
truly paved the way,
for phobias up the wazoo
everything imaginable for me and you.
It was my favorite tv show
but little did he know,
that his way of thinking
shows just how much the world is sinking.
Monk the defective detective
showed us how we truly live,
fear of this and fear of that
i have to give him on the back a pat.
He hit the nail right on the head
showing us how we CAN be led,
if 1 says it's bad the rest soon follow
and in our own phobia we wallow.
Back in the day we didn't have worries
about getting germs and cooties,
the water was safe to drink anyday
and the air was clean along the way.
Since then all of a sudden so much has turned bad
well i'm still here taking it all in and glad,
yes it is a jungle out there
and i'm glad he took the time to care.
But the real jungle is the way some people act
they gather together and form a pact,
to spread chaos and lies wherever they go
and in life's path let only ignorance show.
Instead of trying to find things to make us worry
how bout we focus on something we need to agree,
that we are all part of the HUMAN race
and as with animals a jungle we should not face.
Kudos to monk the defective detective
for pointing out the way not to live,
for to live in fear of everything we are given
let's face it that's not really livin.
We laughed at his phobias how very true
because we saw in them me and you,
but the message was still very clear
a jungle out there with the chaos must disappear.
The world we love so much might just kill us
but man's ignorance is what we need to discuss,
poison in the very air we breathe
is from the chaos man can't help but weave!
If it came down to just 2 people left on earth,
there could be peace
are you 1 of them for what it's worth?!
