POETRY MAN
For my friend Edwin with love and respect to a beautiful person!
He pens his heart
upon the page;
his joy, his love,
his pain, his rage
And in the words
with us he shares
the man inside,
his soul does bare
A Godly man,
A father too,
A faithful friend
to me and you
He loves the Lord
His Word he heeds
His merit shows
through words and deeds
And without thought
to his own life
he comforts those
experiencing strife
A gentle man
who's found his way;
he's now MY friend
ever more to stay
