Austerity
There are those who will equate this current recession
With that of a prior period called the great depression
The big difference between then and now could be
That there are now an exposure of a greater population density
It is no fault that most government's budget are stretched
Some have extended themselves that there are in a great debt
Therefore having no other recourse but to see assistance from the IMF
A union that can put on such a hold that herald in financial death
This will expose those susceptible sectors of the population
Who have no form of support or collateral to take to any financial institution
Would have to fall victim to that of the extortionists' venom
To help ease those pressures of the economic burden
The downsizing and closing of firms and corporations will rob
Many of those who were employed out of a job
Because many manufacturers were under such strain
Because the crisis has also make the market difficult to sustain
It hard to put any pressure on the poor Bank Manager
It is easy to think that he should show sympathy to the customer
That loans should be rescheduled and there should be some ease
But it should be noted that it not his money to do with as he please
Also the banks should be under a great financial stress
As there will be default loans and withdrawal to add to the mess
There is nothing wrong in going in and sit and negotiate
A form of payment the situation to mitigate.
Apply some measure that can be helpful to ones budget
Cut out those habits that will dent the pocket
Those shot trips that you would most surely drive
Make an effort to walk and get that needed exercise.
Some people pretend or there seem quite uncaring or ignorant
Still want to lifestyle equivalent to when the time was solvent
Continuing in manner so uncaring and very extravagant
Saying that they cannot scale down not for any instant
