Reina De Corazones
Rules then some from her Kingdom
No iron fist with hearts shes won
Favor of subject who seeks the Queen
Of heart his yet to be seen
This serf who toils with love searched for
Love beyond her Castle doors
Hunger pains but not for food
But for love by simple fool
Sighs unheard will come and slay
This lesser man but still he stays
This course so coarse, this road long traveled
Where hope becomes to be unraveled
The line outside her castle gate
Becomes longer yet still he waits
For audience with her who rules
Hearts of those that need retooled
Day becomes late afternoon
Sun now sets gives way to moon
Yet still in line his hopes grow dim
Where castle crowd guards start to thin
She'll see no more, now go away
She's had her fill, her fill today
Of those seeking to win her favor
Those who wish of her to savor
You too serf the Queen now rests
Besides she has no time for your heart pressed
To beat again, to heal what ails
To bring the wind back to your sails
and so the serf with sigh begins
Again his journey that knows no end
Back to where he knows will be
Alone with moonlight and friend donkey
