Eraser, Erase Her
There are things we lived just yesterday
Things still held until this day
Love the kind that takes you down
Love, ones wish were still around
Hard pressed you'd be to find again
Perfect soul mate, your once best friend
That stole covers upon the bed
Leaving naked what filled your head
If you blinked you missed their smile
Today wished for, for a short while
Just to feel they were with you
Your second wind you held unto
Sometimes the ache gives way to sleep
Sometimes their kiss upon lips keep
If just in thought you still feel them
Today lips cold on you condemn
So seek you do for some eraser
To wipe what pains and leave no trace of
Better days that are no more
Lonely nights for you in store
She was the one that got away
She was the one that should have stayed
To share Kodak moments with you
To fill your soul today turned blue
Eraser sought but cannot find
To wipe away your love struck mind
To no avail there's no such thing
So deal you do each day you wing
Erase you would by hand but heart
Will say be still no need to part
What keeps alive if just in dreams
Erase not what upon we lean
Eraser, Erase her
