Poetic Verses
For a Very Special Person
I have seen the sparkle of freshly cleaved diamond
Also witnessed the brilliance of stars in a constellation
But all those paled when compared to the radiance
Emitted by your eyes as they glow with such luminance
The dispersion of light by raindrop form a rainbow so colorful
The arrangement and assortment of the roses in a bouquet is such a spectacle
The endless color array presented by that in a kaleidoscope
Are relegated to monochrome in the presence of the ones you emote
My sense of smell has been privileged to recognize many aromas
Being subjected to perfumes snd scents that transcend many eras
But all those are like an extinct fragrance so outdated
Not close not even by the smallest fraction of what you emanated
On my life you have been that positive influence
You support and advice has been a source of sustenance
You encouragement and critique always heighten my ability
Causing me to dig deeper in my realms of creativity
Your presence and advice has given that drive
You are the comforting force that keeps me alive
Knowing that I will see and having you near gives me hope
When there in life's dark gorges where I have to grope.
If I had to measure the value you are to me
It will perhaps take even longer than infinity's infinity
And if I had to make an assessment of how much to me you are worth
That value would transcend this and lots of other universe
When you are near each moment is like a valuable treasure
My heart and body always bubble with joy and such pleasure
Those dreams we share of things both far and near.
Always take may mind to a state of being already there.
