I forgot to say.
By the way i forgot to say
Before i waste any more of your time
You are now a long forgotten piece
Like some really old forgotten rhyme
You can choke on your words
And swallow them one by one
And as time passes me by
I will not be sorry that your gone
In days of old, begged did i
For you to be there by my side
But as years went by, oh the pain
Of all the rules I've had to abide
Yes i forgot to say on this day
That i have wiped my slate clean
Out with the old in with the new
Rid of the wicked and mean
A brand new day awaits me now
There's a ladder for me to climb
Here i stand with dignity and pride
Not a penny or nickle or dime.
