Achilles Heel
Sentiment Achilles heel
Possession one my hearts appeal
Knows the road we've traveled on
My walk by faith and search to bond
GOD knows my heart and pleas at night
Sometimes by day often we fight
These needs carnal and too of spirit
Our soul seeks out but no one hears it
Yet many years have since gone by
The winds of change with me would sigh
The many nights we'd share alone
Our emptiness we've both condoned
Sometimes this feel of sentiment
Becomes more of an argument
In Loves court this trial by fire
Has found guilty all I desire
Achilles heel but not of foot
Achilles heel arrow we took
In heart that dies to live again
Of soul wishing for pain to end
Surely we're not alone on this
Who missed the boat and too the kiss
But time one day will come to free
This lonely heart and her we breathe
Achilles heel sometimes demise
Is what we think read in our eyes
For sentiment is unforgiving
When love no more is what it's living
