Of Last Days
Deprivation makes for strange bedfellow
When held tight to it plays like Cello
Inside the heart that lives deprived
Outside ones face that lives a lie
You hold to things that you can change
Whats worst is how you so arrange
Your life around someone who won't
Give back what but know they won't
This suit you wear so full of holes
You chase the past and too rainbows
Out of style just like the feelings
This moment yours, someone now stealing
Kiss yourself and look to sky
Where wings of white too say goodbye
For your heart was never meant to be
With her you know, pure ecstasy
Numb yourself to what surrounds
You in corner painted on grounds
Of indecisiveness and what is owed
To you who failed to seek and grow
Romance seems to siphon you
Of all you can but not be true
True to yourself that needs much change
and so you live life quite estranged
Excuses come a dime a dozen
Time grows short wishing you loved then
Then when she was there for you
Now, your future walked away from too
