Living in a Bottle, Living in CHRIST
His need becomes of urgency
His thirst not quenched a travesty
As days become his darkest nights
Shared by the drink not of Gods light
Prayers go out to him and mother
A son once lost Jesus blood covers
If heart of his would any ask
To break the bottle and spirits flask
Alcohol this man made drink
Has taken lives that use to think
It's OK I'll have one more
Before stupor meets hard with floor
His health became victim to it
His life borders near deaths dark pit
A son so loved asking for CHRIST
To heal him of his induced plight
Prayers go out today to save
A man whose mom now sees him fade
Unlike the boy she raised and loves
Is now the man that needs more of
More of CHRIST, less of him
Who holds to spirits filled with sin
Who needs the healing hand of One
Who saved the best if he'd just come
Come dear son and drink of me
Know that I have plans for thee
Clean and sober days await
Before you reach my Pearly gates
Honor me and too your mother
Bring forth the man I too have fathered
The life you chose drowning your woes
Is not the life for you I chose
Come Tommy, open your heart
All you need ask for help to start
On your way with you I'll walk
To health now saved come now lets talk
Your future is ahead of you
Your needs are great I know this too
But in me there is no greater
For I am GOD, mans sole creator
You called to me lets now begin
Breaking of bottles on wall of sin
For in me you will know I Am
The GOD who saves all souls once damned
Dedicated to Tommy whose mother I've
come to know as if my own. May your
days of living in the bottle be filled with
living in CHRIST
