The promised Land

The is a blessed promised land that was given to you
But the promised came with commandments too
The land flows with milk and honey
The gardens are green and the sky is sunny
A land the Lord cares for and He is there always
For you to live blessed for all your days
All that you could need or want the land brings
But the Lord commands you do some things
He says you will be blessed all of your days
Just love the Lord your God and seek His face
Obey His commandments witch are gently explained
Lest He shut up the heavens and there be no rain
Then the land yield not her fruit for you
If He shut up the heavens, what would we do
Some of us go through things and don't understand
That it is because we  don't obey Gods' command
He said to lay them up in our hearts and in our soul
Esteem them more highly than silver or gold
Teach them to our children everyday
And talk about them as we walk along the way
Put them on the door post of our house
Let the praises of the Lord flow from our mouth
The promised land represents the promised life
The obedient children,  loving husband, caring wife
Cupboards full, bank account abundant
More blessing then you thought you wanted
Not one enemy will you have to fear
Just blessed the Lord and hold him dear
Yes there are some things you must do
But the promised land is still available to you
Deut. 11:8-25
