In dreams we have and had for years
In solitude where we would hear
The voice of one who came from sky
Angel of light where kiss I tried
But my mind back then too played
Searching, praying for such a day
She came to me on rainy night
Bringing much change to sorry sight
That lived to live to just survive
To hush our sighs and come alive
My heart hungry for such a time
The need to taste of love my crime
Would be of her I'd drink that night
Caress tender yet hold to tight
Lips red as wine were mine to kiss
Hair of gold adding to bliss
Blue eyes that held me hypnotized
This gift from GOD that hushed deep sighs
Her wings of white wrapped my body
Bringing close this once nobody
To know she came to take me where
She had come from, in her eyes bared
She slowly dropped to knees and whispered
To ears that longed for feathered whispers
That made me whole as we took flight
Ascending with her in starlit night
