 The Kid In Us
Antics then some all up her sleeve
A prize possession her laugh my glee
Brings us close as if we knew
Each other once now both drawn to

She brings silly to the table
The kid in me at times unstable
To know how good it is to feel
Laughter the past would come and steal

Sunshine could be her middle name
As when she leaves I'm not the same
As she brings out the kid again
Sadly alone missing his friend

Silly this write but is the feel
The state of our once lost appeal
That makes it fun to be with her
Moments quite silly in kid she stirs

Maybe one day I'll hold her hand
Swap chocolate kisses this mess grown man
That needed one to talk and share
A part of them to make a pair
Crossing two hearts silly that swear

Say What?!

Don't look at me, I didn't pull his tail, Kathryn did!
