Barely noticed like a crack
on the sidewalk, a broken heart
living alone like a grain of sand
at a beach, no one sees the pain, he
shivers, cries, A broken stone
By day his actions take him
in search for food to survive
doing his best to make it as
many walk past as if blind
without a look, in his direction
so alone he stays like a
puzzle piece without its place
From park to park he journeys
to find some rest, he tries,
many won't know he is there
so alone he stays, alone
for hours it seems
as sun goes down yet again
and rises the next day, alone...again
We are surrounded by so many hurting people without a home or a
place to lay down their head. Keep them in prayer and help all you can.
It's the least we can do for our brothers and sisters.
