Beware of I Can't
It can be a amazing and worrying how many times you hear those words I can't
Because someone is confronted with a situation and the spirits get daunt
Never trying to sit, analyze and think through the problem
But come hastily to the conclusion, that it is beyond them
If you think that you will live a life without have a challenge
Because they are all around you and somehow they, you must manage
In infancy despite the many falls you persevered and did walk
And you got over all those obstacles when you wanted to talk
So at the tender age determination to succeed was there
Then how come now in adult life, such tendencies now disappear.
So now you are more aware, you succumb without even a try
Therefore do not sit and pine, when you realize that you let an opportunity slip by.
There has been this saying from before your time and mine
Success or failure is all precluded in the mind
There was written in one of Shakespeare's plays, and it is a proven test
That a coward is a person who dies many times before his death
Sometimes, it is not that you have a trepidation for those many hurdles in the way
But you are more in fear of the disparaging words your peers may say
Remember it may be their right to be supportive or offer criticism
But it is you who have to dig deep and get to the root of the problem.
Nothing can make a life seems so very sedate
That is to carry around lots of needless dead weight
So if you want to grow in strength and learn
Make an effort to change you life's pattern
Don't be like any sort or form of a drone
Residing yourself to be in an stage of a comfort zone
Even though you may not be the one setting the pace
Make sure you have the gumption to complete the race.
