Always on My Mind
Sometimes through the day I often talk to you
I tell you how I am feeling
And all the things I am going through,
My emotions are all over the place
There are days I can't stop the tears,
It is hard to believe the months have flown by so quickly
You have been gone almost a year,
There are still those days without you
That seem so hard to bear,
I miss your love and kindness
All the happy times we used to share,
I miss your lovely smile
It used to brighten my day,
Over time the years became harder
And they took your smile away,
So on this day of every month
I always think of you,
The love you have shown me over the years
Will always see me through,
And as a new day begins
The distance between us grows with time,
I want you to know I love you Sweetheart
You are always on my mind
