Sonday Morning
He wakes today many a soul
A word of His today needs told
Whispers softly into each one
Come and hear what my son's done
You roll over and try to doze
Another wink body proposed
But plans not yours are in the making
It's time, accept, CHRIST you're forsaking
That breath of air that filled your lungs
The peaceful rest you had unsung
Was given so you'd have this day
To worship Him, to know His ways
The bed you slept in, the roof above
Your place of rest and all in of
What you call home He dwells within
Your heart, His space He cleansed of sin
The drive past church, His other home
That you ignore, that you alone
Could use today to visit Him
A message there spoken within
Time merciful given this day
Another chance, visit to pay
For paid He did for all to come
and praise His son for all He's done
