Gilgamesh
Once a distant,
A brilliant dawn.
The like will
never echo again.
Over
the cradle of man,
"Nemesis"
An arch star of death,
Born to scorn Mother Earth!!!
Shied in high
and arrogant a sphere!
Two thousand safer years
She gained,
A fertile realm.
One holy day,
When the
king of Uruk was born.
Giant ciders of Anbars
shivered.
Sparkled they
dusty leaves
of Basra's palms.
Water streams of
Shatt Al Arab!!
Woke up,
Hasting eagerly,
Before sunrise.
They poured
fine refined waters,
Across Kuwaiti Bubian!
They nurtured
a dormant Gulf Arabian.
Half or more
that immortal!
A twisted jewel
of the ancient times.
