Searching the Darkness
the shadow clings to the wall the moon rises as it hunts it searches through the crowd of minds for just the one one with weakness the unstable one the confused one searching the darkness it waits for the right one to appear there are many minds floating by many emotions but not the one it grows impatient yet it controls knowing it must to achieve its goal waiting feeling sensing for the mind that hangs on the thread of life searching the darkness it waits for the right one to appear then it feels it the imbalance the fear confusion delusions filling the mind all the right feelings the right combinations he craves to feed on there is a feeling of restlessness anticipation....and yes....release searching the darkness it waits for the right one to appear the shadow slowly lures the unsuspecting mind straight into its clutches it slides into the mind feeding on the fears confusions delusions growing with each feed till it is sated then takes control of the helpless mind searching the darkness it waits for the right one to appear Vote for this poem
